Oct. 26th, 2010 12:33 ami wanted to be able to write an entry for today that started so i didn't actually imbibe any alchol today except it'd be a lie since i actually had a pink comfort after dinner (southern comfort, white rum, grapefruit juice, grenadine. absolutlely fucking delicious omg ♥)
and of course, in the same thread as my previous posts, this makes me want to spend even more money because, clearly, blowing 40USD on pens /wasn't enough/. now, i need a pencil case. : |
current options
monopoly pencil case (snap closure) ($13)
-advantages: super cute. foldout tray design which means easy access to pens, plus holds way more shit than you think it could (i could easily fit all my hellokitty hi-tec-c's in)
-disadvantages: EXPENSIVE. EXPENSIVE. EXPENSIVE. also i would be unable to prevent myself from buying a headphone wire wrapper thing.
paperchase pencil case ($7)
-advantages: cheap. paperchase store is like 5 min away.
-disadvantages: not as cute.
of course the part that really bites is, if i'd actually gone and bought a pencil case from E.L.T. in boston it would've run me, like, $5 for a cheap, but super cute little one and maybe $10 for a metoo case (like the one i got arwa) although truthfully, despite all the pining, i don't think i'd ever get a metoo because it would get it horrible and dirty within, like, two minutes (no lie this is why i have to switch out cases - i have oil marker and fountain pen and other pen and pencil marks staining my current one. i've washed it in the wash before, but it never completely works and mostly just scrubs off the design which makes me sad)
in other news i am incapable of doing any of my work and despite claiming i would finish my O3 lab report tonight i have gotten as much done as i did over the weekend (which is to say ABSOLUTELY NONE). i also have not done my A6 work which is just, y'know, WAY TO GO SELF.
i was a good girl and logged my 3 hours into lab today, setting up my chromium hexacarbonyl + anisole reaction, which is still running (finish 1pm tomorrow yeahhh) and is quietly freaking me out because dude. what if i blew up the lab accidentally! what if my condenser suddenly went mad and water got into the silicon oil and caused it to polymerize and then mikola would kill me and idk. IT IS VERY SCARY why did i think coming here was a good idea fffff..
on the other hand, if i do survive this term and prevent myself from spending anymore money, i have a possiblity of GOING TO FRANCE and getting to see the musee d'orsay and saint chapelle and the louvre with its crazy glass pyramids. !!!!!!!! yeah.
and now it is 12:32am and i should sleep** lolololol LET US SEE HOW THIS WORKS

**of course what this /actually/ means is i will curl up in my bed and play twewy until 2am at which point i go oh fuck need to sleep and, ultimately, end up arriving to my 9am class at 9:10am at which point all the other students stare at me suspiciously because i am the Loser Girl who keeps coming late to class and really you might as well just STAY IN YOUR ROOM or something idek.
